#Communication
Communication shouldn’t rely on power dynamics, like kids responding to authority figures. But let’s face it—when conversations get tricky or conflicts arise, it’s all too easy to slip into avoidance. Here’s the thing: avoiding conflict doesn’t make it disappear. It just adds stress and leaves the real issues unresolved. So, how do you break the cycle? Take ownership of your role. Speak up, and look into the situation with curiosity instead of fear or blame. Authentic communication starts when someone dares to engage, even when it feels uncomfortable. Someone has to take the lead and prioritize honesty and connection. Why not let that someone be you?
