#NoThankYou
If you only accept 'yes' as an answer, you might unknowingly pressure people to compromise their truth to please you. When it's hard for others to say 'no' in your presence, they'll avoid saying it. You can tell people to be brave, speak up, and say 'no,' but it's equally important to recognize the pressure you place on others to conform. If people frequently agree but fail to follow through, it's time to reflect on how you're making requests. Are you asking, or are you demanding? The lesson: Don't pressure people into saying 'yes.' True power in a request comes from allowing others the freedom to say 'yes' or 'no.' Relationships built on mutual respect for choice endure. Make your requests with an open heart and honor the honesty of their response. Comments are closed.
