Are you ready for some resistance training? Yes, physical resistance training can strengthen your body and bones, but have you ever considered engaging in social resistance training?
 
When you catch yourself resisting what someone else says or does simply because it differs from your approach, pause for a moment. Take a deep breath and soften your resistance. By holding onto resistance, you unintentionally create more of what you don’t want, making it harder to form genuine connections.
 
However, when you let go of that resistance, you remove a barrier between yourself and others. This openness builds strength—a strength that fosters acceptance. Acceptance, in turn, allows you to see things as they are. And when you see things clearly, you empower yourself with the freedom to choose your response.
