You have the freedom to act or to do nothing. That’s the essence of choice. Consider this: You can focus on what you can do, or if you choose inaction, let silence be your teacher. There’s a difference between choosing inaction intentionally and doing nothing out of habit or fear. Intentional inaction isn’t the opposite of a can-do mindset. Sometimes, the best course of action is to pause, reflect, and allow clarity to emerge. Don’t just do something—be still for a while.
