What does unresolved conflict cost you when you don't address it?

Don't answer too quickly. At first, you might think it just costs you your peace of mind, only to dismiss it until the disturbance escalates and it's unavoidable.

The cost can also extend to relationships, teams breaking down, or losing momentum. However, it’s not the conflict itself that causes these costs. It's the 'unresolved' that continues to lurk in the background, creating coalitions instead of teams, glossing over issues instead of confronting them, and passing the buck to someone else to handle.

Imagine what you could achieve if you brought the unresolved out of the background and put that 'elephant' on the table. With the issue in plain view, everyone can acknowledge and agree on the problem you're working to solve before you actually start to solve it.
