#SelfAwareness
Can you move past your concerns to hear the concerns of others? Are you self-aware or self-absorbed? Recognizing that others have issues just like you can provide relief. While the specifics of the concerns may differ, the struggle to overcome them is a shared human experience. After listening to someone's worries, empathetically ask, "How are you going to handle this situation?" Listen closely to their response. You might hear a valuable truth or a limiting belief. It's often easier to notice resignation, complaints, or inaction in others than in yourself. You're not listening to solve their problem; you'll just annoy them if you do. But by paying attention, you can cultivate the self-awareness needed to address your own issues. This self-awareness can guide you to become an example of what's possible, benefiting both yourself and potentially the other person. Comments are closed.
