Having an open-door policy is a good idea, but it won't make a difference if no one feels comfortable opening the door.


Building relationships requires connecting and talking to people. When people see that it's safe to approach you, they'll start coming to you with questions and concerns, knowing they'll be heard and valued. However, it’s essential that everyone understands that an ‘open door’ doesn’t guarantee agreement. It supports open communication and trust.


The goal is open communication, not conformity.
