Survival is short-term planning; victory requires long-term planning. Avoid getting mired in short-term thinking, where everything turns into an emergency. Adrenaline might surge to help you handle immediate tasks, but living in constant crisis mode isn't healthy. Identify where your long-term planning is lacking. You might find your anxiety stems from not having a plan. Create one, and notice the change.
