Taking control of your life starts with recognizing what you can influence. This includes your words, spending, thoughts, and focus. When you manage these areas, you build self-trust. If these aspects control you, you quickly realize you have given them the power to do so. Take back control over any one of these areas and notice the change. You can't control everything that happens, but you can control how you react. Find out what happened and what you need to do to fix it. This problem-solving approach will help you find solutions when things happen outside your control. Now, choose one area you'd like to manage better. Maybe it's changing unhelpful thinking or setting a budget. Taking control in one area creates a ripple effect, leading to more confidence and a stronger foundation for tackling other challenges.
