‘Be fair, be firm, and be friendly’ is a simple yet powerful mantra you can live by. 

Be fair by considering what's just and equitable. Before making decisions, weigh the potential impact on everyone involved. This might mean taking time to listen to different perspectives to ensure the best outcome.

Be firm by holding yourself and others accountable and standing your ground on important values and expectations. Maintain consistency in how you enforce rules and meet commitments, both for yourself and others. 

Be friendly by giving others the benefit of the doubt. This doesn't mean being overly lenient but fostering a positive atmosphere where open communication thrives.
