#Self-kindness
Have you ever paused to consider how to be genuinely kind to yourself? Self-compassion is the first step. Self-compassion is the practice of treating oneself with the same kindness, concern and understanding that you would show a good friend. It encourages an attitude of care during times of difficulty or failure, rather than adopting a self-punitive stance. Once you engage internal kindness, it naturally overflows into your day, enabling you to hold yourself accountable without losing warmth. Kindness isn’t a veil that obscures reality. It’s robust and grounded in a state of attention and awareness. Kindness won’t cost you anything and may prove to add benefits that money can’t buy.
